Magnificent 11

Amazing women shaped Milwaukee through their endeavors in art, art education, journalism, social justice, animal welfare and community enhancements.

My current research looks at 11 women from the 1800's through early 1900's who, mostly forgotten or simply unknown, transformed Milwaukee in magnificent ways.

Research includes Susan Frackelton, Elizabeth Plankton and Charlotte Partridge.

A Visual Love Poem to the European Village

One of the gems of the Milwaukee Public Museum is the the European Village. Comprised of glimpses into the rooms, homes and objects of 33 cultures, the European Village personally amazes me with the incredible details of life.

I'm currently working on a photo book, documenting each house or room, since the exhibit will not carry over to the new public museu
